Ken Knox gave me a call because he wanted a shoot with the cast of Chico’s Angels. I went over to Casita and had a lot of fun with some creative shots. We found a trailer and a dumpster for some fun backdrops.

I went last night to Mickys and was expecting Jason Crew. However he canceled and Casper Sloan was the guest instead. Sort of disappointed since I was looking forward to photographing Jason. Ah well. So the night was okay, a bit slow, but okay. I then went down to Hamburger Marys to see a few of the sisters for Dining Out For Life. Only took 3 shots of them for their records. No big plans coming for the weekend so nothing really to report right now. Here are some shots.

I went last night to a private party at the Abbey. It was all decked out in white carpeting and white easy chairs. David even hired a private orchestra. It was really nice. I saw several people I knew and socialized a bit. It was strange at the end of the night when I was awaiting orders to take a photo of Christina Aguilera. However, she decided no photos to be allowed. Lets just say I was annoyed. I mean she knew there were photographers at the event. She should have been nice and allowed us to take a few select shots and been done. My opinion of a famous person drops when they are not cooperative with the media. Sorry, but being on this side of the lens, it is important when someone is famous for them to be appreciative of that fame. Enough said. Here are some shots.
New Born Vegan
I did nothing in the way of photos since last cocktail night on thursday. I am going tonight to the abbey for an anniversary party. It should be fairly routine. I have been feeling a little better health wise due to the medication I am taking for digestion. I have a condition known as Crohns. It makes diet and other things quite hard. Well it has been about two months that I have gone totally Vegan. And I feel a lot better. I think the main reason I started was for diet but now I realize how cruel animals are handled for food processing. Thus I have no desire to eat meat or products from animals. I probably should not include this, however since those who know me understand that I am outspoken, I will mention it. My dad worked for one of the big chemical companies that develops hormones for the farm animals. It makes the animals yield more milk and also modifies their structure to be less fatty. This was quite a controversial topic at our dinner table when I was a teen. It will be interesting to hear his viewpoint on this when I visit the family in May. So I am a total vegan except for the one pair of leather shoes and jacket I own. 🙂

Chi Chi LaRue brought some of her hot guys for Jason to interview. It also was the bartender Jason’s birthday. It was nice to see everyone. I am enjoying this event weekly but needed a break from Tuesdays.
