Postcard Perfect Beach Day
I had a totally wonderful time touring the coast with detailed visits to Laguna Beach and Newport Beach (Balboa area).? The weather was simply marvelous and there was plenty of eye candy (in other words shirtless men) to view all day.? Please enjoy the photos I took above.
Bought a Microwave
I know this should not be such a big deal, but I kept avoiding doing it since my last move.? Just did not want to carry a big microwave from the store on the bus.? So finally after wanting to make more food at home to save money, I went to Home Depot, and got a small one that was not too heavy and set it up in the kitchen.? Now I can reheat left overs or tv dinners and such.
Chapter 27 and Jared Leto
I went last night to an opening of the movie named “Chapter 27” with Jared Leto.? The movie delves into the mind of John Lennon’s assasin.? It was very distrurbing.? After the show, the director and Jared came to do a Q&A.? I was pleased that Jared acknowleged me by saying he was impressed with my mohawk.? I asked him if he interviewed Mark Chapman in Bellevue for insights, but he said no that was not something that was necessary.? Most of the audience asked about the extreme body transformation that took place (he gained 60 pounds and looked very ugly actually).? He said he was a masochist and did it for the art of the film (paraphrased).? He seemed like an interesting guy.? After I left I thought, gee stupid, you should have given him your card with a note on the back saying something like “Lets have coffee”.? Oh well.
Bought a Sansa
My Ipod died again, second one to have a hdd go bad.? So I said I am not spending a fortune this time.? I went to the best buy and the girl was nice and helped me pick out a nice new hot pink, yes, sansa.? It has 2gb capacity and I added a 1gb mini card.? It will not hold all my music that I have on the laptop but I figure I can swap in and out the songs I wanna listen to for that day or week or whatever.
