I went last night to a mock wake as a going away party for my friend Shane. Then to a xmas gig at Spit Club. I enjoyed it and met some new people. Today I went to a new astrology group in Santa Monica. They are not as structured as the Hollywood one, but I enjoyed meeting them and talking about common things.
Had a very long day with two events. Parker Williams was the guest. He photographed well. And then I stayed for College night called Dirty Pop for Anthony. I experimented with ISO settings and found my original thoughts were right. Very high ISO produces way too much noise even though it allows for some flexibility. I plan to try a few more tests next time. But I decided not to charge for this round of pics.
I have not been as active with the camera lately. I just need a break for a few days. So I took it. I did take a few shots for Mickys Play. Of course the wet shorts contest is always good for several shots. Then yesterday I went on a daytrip downtown LA and did a few shots of the buildings.
No photo events and I did not go to anniversary party on sunday (bad me). I needed a break and trying to get settled into my new place more. I moved a few things around and changed/rearranged things. I am comfortable and just trying to adjust to the noise levels at night. I guess thats life in the big city…..maybe when I am rich I can retire on a hill top with total peace and quiet 🙂
Of course I had a terrific time at Cocktails with the Stars at mickys with the monthly DJ Chi Chi LaRue and several of her boy porn stars. Johnny Hazzard was the main guest. Other appearances were made by Arpad Miklos, Trevor Knight, Rod Barry, David Phoenix, and Jacob Slader
