Last night was a good crowd and the guest was fun. A few others came up on stage as well. So that made things even more interesting. I liked the scorpion tattoo on the one guy. I asked Antton to sign a model release but he said he needed to check with Colt first. So until I have authority to sell the images, I have just shared them for display only. Ricky was invited to return as it turns out he has a fan base that wanted him to come again. The crowd was not big but the energy was good. Tomorrow I have plans to go downtown for a shoot with the photography meetup group. Ron is letting me help organize. It should be fun, weather permitting. It does look like the rain is done. I am not like the typical native who likes the rain. I came here for the sun. Not the charming people 🙂

I had a very nice evening with Manny Torres and Jeremy Hall. I had met Manny a year ago when he was a guest at the show. And I had met Jeremy a year ago when he came for the GayVN awards. He recently relocated here from Vancouver, Canada and is living at a place in the downtown area. I still have not heard from the guys at x3fraternity.com and am curious if they plan on speaking with me or not. Scott mentioned they are scheduled for some more appearances. Thus they should be prepared to be photographed and settle this previous legal matter.

Well this morning I was sent a rather threatening email from a lawyer representing these guys. Apparently they objected to my gallery photos taken during the weho xxx awards. Pursuant to keeping the peace, the photos were removed from the gallery. However I am not sure why an attorney was hired for such a matter. If these men objected to photos being taken and used, they should have mentioned it to the 3 professional photographers who were at this event. They were on a stage and saw many flashes going off. I am supposed to speak with a rep from their company in next few days to clear up this matter. I am hoping we can make this situation a positive one. Maybe I can do some photo work for them. I still am a little surprised since they are placing their images and videos on the internet already. I am hopeful this is not being done out of greed since I am but a poor artist and suing me to the point of litigation would be rather pointless.
