My Ipod died again, second one to have a hdd go bad.? So I said I am not spending a fortune this time.? I went to the best buy and the girl was nice and helped me pick out a nice new hot pink, yes, sansa.? It has 2gb capacity and I added a 1gb mini card.? It will not hold all my music that I have on the laptop but I figure I can swap in and out the songs I wanna listen to for that day or week or whatever.

Happy Birthday to Herb Alpert (73) of the famous Tijuana Brass and author of the Whipped Cream and Other Delights album.? I used to listen to this as a teenager believe it or not.? I guess I had more culture than most :)? I was in a creative mood this morning so I made a new cartoon of myself.? Also a lot of notable birthdays today.? Al Gore (60), Shirley Jones (Partridge Family,74), Richard Chamberlain (74), Christopher Walken (65), Gabe Kaplan(Welcome Back Kotter, 63), Rhea Perlman (Cheers,60), William McNamara (43), Ewan McGregor (37), and finally historically Cesar Chavez would have turned 101.
I really thought it was better for me not to eat animals and attempt the vegetarian thing.? However after fighting to get enough protein and other nutrition and speaking with doctors, I decided, screw it.? If I go to hell for eating Elcee, tough 🙂
I am going later to a metro meeting at headquarters to give some input on their draft of 25 year projected transit plan.? I really would like to see the subway extended to santa monica beach before I am dead! Otherwise, there are some successful lines like Orange busway, Gold Line to Pasadena, and the current Red line.? I am fond of transit, and wish they had more trains :)? I even considered driving a train or bus at one point.? Might be interesting right.
