Well the rest of my week was pretty uneventful. End of the month tends to be that way. Still thinking a lot about the moving situation and trying to decide if I should try for my own place or get another room mate. I have time so I am not going to stress. I took a day trip downtown on thursday and got a few fun photos. LA downtown just isnt like a real city like new york. Ah well. Its where I live for now 🙂
Mickys was not that exciting but somehow I got a few good photos. I went with Greg to TVOD at Faultline as Guard Moe. That was nice. Went shopping yesterday after doctor appt. Nothing too exciting there. I prob will wait until tomorrow nite for LAL stuff. I got email from IML guy and he said he would give me media credentials. I still have to decide if I want to spend the money and go to chicago or stay in LA and possibly go to Vegas pride with Sisters. Its raining today and suppose to do it all weekend so the street fair probably will be a bust. Oh well. I still have fun when I do sister related stuff. And the indoor contest at El Rey will be fun. The photo is fun one of Sister Buffy hoarding the pornos. The expression on her face is the best.
I had a really great time last night. I got so many photos considering it was just a normal night as far as attendance and performances. But I guess I was on a mission and got almost 150 photos. I kept about 114 of them for posting on www.dragstrip66.com and used new album layout/software. I hope everyone likes it. I emailed Paul V about next weekend and hope he understands the commitment I made for LAL weekend with Sisters. As for moving, I think I am gonna relax for a few weeks and aim for a May 1 thing instead. I still have not decided about IML as I am waiting for media guy to confirm my press pass. I would like going for a visit but the tickets are going for over 200 now and wondering if I shouldnt save my money. I will decide this week.
I had a nice time at the IN LA Magazine 7th anniversary and got many photos. Saw a lot of people I knew and some I didnt expect to see. I might go to sister leather function tonight since I have no other plans but not sure if I am in the mood for silverlake and the crowd at gauntlet. So I will decide later tonight. MaryAnn asked if I would do oscars at mickys and I had to decline since I am doing the two benefits. I have to admit, I am nervous about making sure I get all the shots needed between the two spots even though they are next door. I am sure it will all work out as things usually do.
Spit was okay but it was raining and the tarp did not cover much. Paul did the contest but just wasnt the same. I took down the photo of a girl who flashed her breast even though it was the funniest photo. 🙂 I am trying to figure out the weekend plans for the oscar mess. I think I am going to the Here Bar event to benefit Trevor. I spoke to Chris at APLA and he said no thanks for coming to Abbey as well. I think they are snobs at APLA. I left a long winded message for Jeremy (IN) and told him to call Chris and have me invited if he wants. Otherwise, I will just plan on going to Trevor one. For Friday he asked that I take pictures for the magazine anniversary party. Said he would pay me too. Tonight I work at Mickys. Should be okay crowd because its been raining for so long that people will come out regardless. As for sister biz, I might go satruday to ashram west leather dealio, but not really thrilled about that. I will see what else comes up.
