Last night was one of the worse turn outs for a porn guy I have ever seen. Maybe it was because he is approaching 50 and is not terribly attractive. Oh well, I do not book the guests. I had a really fun time last night as it was Mardi Gras and the bar was stuffed. I saw several friends and people I knew and got a general good vibe from everyone. It was a good night. It was a nice change from Monday’s rain.
I went down to Long Beach on sunday to learn a little sister history and get some make up tips from the girls. I did a really nice job. We had food then went out on the town for ministry. I ran into the Toaster crew at Choice, formerly Hamburger Marys. Tammie Brown was hosting bingo. She is just a bundle of energy. I cant imagine what would happen if you gave her ritalin!
I had a nice time at Cocktails with Stars. Francois Sagat was the main guest. Not only is he slightly alternative as I go for usually, but there is something about him, a shyness in a way. Not sure but I find him interesting. Here are a few shots.
I met my friend Ed yesterday for coffee and lunch in studio city as he teaches at the college over in the valley. It was interesting crowd but a little too industry for me. Ed even spotted the host of Fear Factor (Joe Rogan) with his bimbo and kid (hmmm). Last night I attended one of the slowest ‘Play’ nights in years. It was super cold (by LA standards) and they still insisted on charging a cover…for what? no show and no crowd? I just work there and do not say anything. But sometimes I wonder what Dennis is thinking. He has managed there for years. I would think he has to have learned a little business knowledge. I dunno sometimes.
