I did not have any photo events but have a full week ahead. I came to Pasadena today for a diversion. I found a new area called south lake street. Its kinda fun. Oh, and I changed my color to blue. See.

I stopped by Sunset Junction yesterday later in the afternoon and only got a few shots. I think it should be enough for the magazine to use. I saw a lot of east siders. Sometimes I wonder if I should move back to Silverlake. But then I remember all the ghetto aspects and decide it is nicer for me to stay out west. I deserve to have some comfort in my life after a good part of the last 5 years was spent close to poverty.

Yesterday I got some routine things done around the house. Today I am downtown at the central library. I like coming into urbanity down here more often lately. Maybe it is the bus ride on the rapid line along with the high rises downtown. Tonight I am going on a date with someone I recently encountered online. He is an attorney and seems to approve of my creative lifestyle. So I will update after meeting him. Here is a self shot.
Relaxing Weekend
I went downtown to the Fashion District with my friend Edna on Friday. We had lunch at this kitchy place called Cliftons. Its a cafeteria with an outdoor theme carved in lots of wood work. It reminded me of campgrounds. It was a unique find in this town. Then we walked around and found all kinds of fun shops and such. I did not buy anything. I am trying very much to save money for some trips I will be taking hopefully this coming fall. The shots above are from a trip last week I took to pasadena on the yellow line train. I like shooting scenic photos when I am not working an event with people.
