I took a trip up to my friend Sharon’s house in Camarillo. It was nice to meet her Mom and sister Barb. I was glad to not have to spend the holiday alone. My folks appreciated that she invited me and told me to thank her. They met her when they visited LA last year. I only took a few pics.
I am moved and currently the last step will be to get the phone line and dsl running 🙂 I am currently at an internet cafe just to check email and such. I have not planned any photo events until Monday when hopefully I will be all connected back up. I am very happy to be in a nice place with a roomie who is not unstable. Its quite a relief to be away from old roomie. He was unmotivated, drugged-out, lethargic, and uneducated. He has no future and probably will end up on the street once his big settlement gets pissed away. I tried to offer a hand but he bit it. So I left. I did learn something though. No matter how generous of heart you are, if a person is on a downhill road and does not want help, no matter what you say, they will not listen. Leave and let them hit rock bottom so they can pick themselves up and go back uphill. Ah well, enough lecturing. That’s about it for now. I am looking forward to going Monday to the dragshow and then on Tuesday to the astrology meetup.
I had a really nice weekend with 3 events. I went to APIT contest at El Rey with a stage pagaent then dragstrip on saturday night. then the sisters had a play on sunday. It was really nice to get into face again.
I spoke at length to my roomie about issues he had with our living arrangement. Basically we agreed on bills, food, etc and we are going to keep it on a professional level instead of being friends. He has things he needs to focus on in his life and its best if I don’t have to be included in that. I still would ultimately like to find a place of my own. I guess the first step towards that goal is to get credit reports cleaned up. Then it should not be as difficult. My friend suggested I call one of those credit counseling places which is non-profit and would help out. I will look and make some calls this week. Here are few photos from Mickys Decade last night. Well its amazing but I am all moved and even have my DSL line. I am glad I hired movers instead of getting a bunch of friends. It made things much simpler. Luckily I got the mickys photos uploaded before Wednesday. I have an event tonight and Long Beach pride is this weekend. Should be nice. All good for now. No real drama right 🙂
